Consecutive nights at Wembley Stadium I remember hearing about a string of shows that Prince did at one time at Wembley Stadium (20 nights??). I'd like to know the facts behind these shows (ie: when they were, what tour, set lists etc.) | |

He gave something like 16 gigs in London ( but not in a row ) for the Lovesexy tour and the Nude tour but it was at the Wembley Arena, then 8 in 92 for the Diamonds And Pearls tour in the Earl Courts . | |

WEMBLEY ARENA DATES 1988 07/25/88 07/26/88 07/28/88 07/29/88 08/01/88 08/02/88 08/03/88 WEMBLEY ARENA DATES 1990 06/19/90 06/20/90 06/22/90 06/23/90 06/25/90 06/26/90 06/27/90 then there were some Birmingham shows then back aat Wembley Arena again 07/03/90 07/04/90 one show in Ireland 07/07/90 CORK then back at Wembley Arena again for 3 more dates 07/09/90 07/10/90 07/11/90 then he went all over Europe and back at Wembley again 08/20/90 One show at Maine Road Manchester 08/21/90 then back at Wembley again 08/22/90 08/23/90 08/24/90 | |

Prince has only ever played Wembley Stadium (att 77,000) ONCE. He did/does hold the record for the most consecutive nights at Earl's Court (cap 15,000-20,000).
