I'll be at the 12/29 show and I'm pumped to see him for the first time! My only concern is my ability to see. I'm 5'3" and after reading other posts, it looks like this could be an issue for me. Did anyone encounter this?

I went to the Rio show last weekend. I"m 5'3" too and stood/danced in the very back of the floor area. I had on heels and could see most of the time. I have seen Prince many times so I didn't show up until midnight because I didn't want to stand in heels for 2 hours before he came on stage. The great thing was -- since people had pushed toward the front, the people standing in the back had a lot of room to move around and dance. But if you want to stand close to the stage you need to show up before 10pm when the doors open.(But remember you'll have to stand there and hold your spot for several hours before he comes on stage.) Another option is in the back of the club where you enter there's a bar, and then before you get to the floor there is a raised area. You could stand there and see pretty well too. Those spots were taken by the time I got there. It's a small, intimate atmosphere so wherever you are standing you're going to have a great time. Have fun!

I am also 5'3" and went to the 11-24 and 11-25 shows. Friday I got there after 10 and was about the middle of the floor and it was very hard to see Prince, I was able to see him only from his chest up. On 11-25 I got there at 8 and was barely able to get a spot at the front and yes you will have to stand what seems like forever but for me it was all worth it. There is nothing like having Prince in arms reach. But if you get there late I am sure if you stand all the way in the back you should be able to see everything.

Im 5'4 and my wife is 5' we stood behind the tables in front of one of the bars. The view was great. My wife said that she saw Prince perfectly. we had a great time. Have fun!

I am only 5'0 & went to the 11/24 show with my b/f who is 6'2. I got up front and he stayed a bit behind me. So I didn't have a problem seeing. We got there at about 10:30 and got pretty close. Plus if you really want to you can always make your way up front. I was also lucky enough to get up on stage with him. The twins pulled about 10-15 people up on stage. We were closer to the front left side of the stage by the VIP ropes. So if you are worried about being able to see it is worth showing up a bit early. Yes you have to stand around for a while since he doesn't go on until around midnight but if you are a true fan a few friends and a few drinks later will help the time go by quite fast
