Is this piss poor management? Or, do we expect too much of a multi-nationally run amateur fanclub?

This may sound silly, but is the MAIN reason because THIS amateur site CANNOT afford the prices Prince is charging for his weekly ... ok, I'll call it a show... not an exercise in self aggrandisement.

Is Prince pricing out his FANS?

Why do you need a thread when there is an entire forum devoted to concerts? Perhaps you should check it out sometime. Perhaps it is news everytime Prince plays, but it would quickly fill out the news home page.

This is a fan-site. We sometimes want up-to-date information. Right now, what Prince is doing in Vegas is exceptionally different from his past practices... I would think that, certainly for the first few months of this project, a report opsted on the homepage as soon as a report can be posted would not be an unreasonable expectation.

I think the management of the Rio shows could be improved. I have several weekends I could attend a show and wanted to on New Year's and stay at the Rio. In order to fly to Vegas, make reservations, hire housesitter..all the organizing that's included, I need to plan ahead....It would help if shows were posted a few months in advance and Prince would stick with the schedule.
If he wants a successful long term operation, this needs to get fixed. If it's just a 6 month stint, maybe I'll manage to swing a trip there on short notice.

Fans post info as it's available. It's hard when even the Rio STAFF don't know what's going on. (I feel sorry for whoever answers the phone there)
