I'VE BEEN TRYING TO BOOK SINCE DECEMBER AND BECAUSE THERE IS NO ANNOUNCE IN ADVANCE HOW CAN ANYONE PLAN. MY TRAVEL AGENT IS FRUSTRATED. I CALLED THE RIO AND THEY CAN'T CONFIRM HE IS OR ISN'T GOING TO PLAY. THOUGHT I WAS GOING JAN 5-6 BUT STILL EVEN TODAY NO ANNOUNCEMENT OF TICKETS ON SALE. NOW THE INTERNET SPECIAL TO FLY IS NO LONGER. IT WILL COST ME $328 AND THAT'S ONE WAY. FORGET IT! WAS REALLY EXCITED ABOUT GOING OUT THERE HOWEVER, I'M THINKING IT OVER. ANYBODY ELSE FEELING THE SAME?

Have you tried www.3121.com or ticketmaster?

It is 99 percent they are playing those dates in January. I was told by a bandmember they were so I booked.

if you look at Mike Phillips and the twinz myspace page, all those january dates are listed. They are also still listed on ticketmaster, just not on sale. On the twinz site it says this about January 5th:

it just seems like they are waiting till after NYE to sell. Does it suck, yeah? The only reason I booked everything already is because I was able to order VIP tix for Jan 5th by mistake before they actually pulled the rest of the tix.....

I know what you mean. It's very frustrating, but I too think with both dates listed on M. Phillips, the twinz and ticketmaster, those dates are pretty solid.

I was just looking on Orbitz to see what our package costs now (I always do that and kick myself for overpaying) and there are some VERY good prices available for January 13-16 which is when I will be going. You could get a flight from MPLS and a room at the Sahara for a total of $559 for two people when using code good2save (Knocks a $100 of the price of any 3 night air/hotel package).

We aren't staying at the Sahara but I have been there and heard reviews and it is a pretty good place to stay if you don't mind the north end of the strip (which I don't for traffic reasons).

Wouldn't it be nice to go to a concert without having to play any guessing games?

My husband has been calling intermittantly for the past 2 weeks. He gets a different story every time. Once was told January dates are cancelled. Absolutely will not book airfare nor hotel until tickets are bought and verified. Want VIP tickets for jan 5th weekend and to stay at the RIO. Hubby just rolls his eyes and shakes his head over it all.

thats what I heard too, thats why I cancelled my reservation and put that extra cash towards VIP tix
