tickets for friends Can a member of the NPGMC buy tickets for a friend. If I wanna use my membership to buy a ticket for the concert in Holland, but can't attend myself. How can my friend pick up the tickets without me using a photo-id to pick it up?
Does anyone have an idea?

A friend can go with you but not instead of you. You would have to go there, pick up the ticket/pass then give it to your friend. Someone else cant pick it up for you - thats the whole purpose. http://www.goldiesparade.co.uk/ - Prince discography, tour history, news and more.

Does anyone have an idea? I don't think you can do this, I don't think it is allowed. The rules clearly state the member must be present to pick up the concert passes. Actually there is one way, give your friend your photo ID, he pretends he is you, shows your ID. Yes that might work! Worth a shot anyway.

There is an issue that the photo in the ID will be differnt from the person presenting it. Very odd suggestion. http://www.goldiesparade.co.uk/ - Prince discography, tour history, news and more.

yes, agree with you there Goldie
It doesn't really bother me that it's not possible, it's good for the members. It would make it easy to scalp if others could pick up tickets. So my friend will just have to get a ticket in the general sales

Does anyone have an idea? It's my understanding that you don't even get tickets, according to the NPGMC web site they just cross your name off the list and then you are IMMEDIATELY escorted into the concert hall! So much for just hanging around in the fresh air for awhile!!! Mikki
