VIP Table

Ok, I was contemplating doing a quickie. Fly in, catch the show (no dinner), then back out the next morning. So, I called the Rio to find out about VIP tables without dinner, and it doesn't make sense.

They said the table is $375 (for 2 people) plus $125 per person for tix. When you add it up, that is the same cost as the VIP package WITH dinner. Huh? Can't be right. Has anyone else gotten info on VIP table for club only?

BTW...Rio website has changed the price to the dinner/show package to $350, but the 3121 Club recording still states it is $312.

Hi Txladykat,

I think you should call the Rio again and inquire about the dinner portion of that. I thought that would include dinner too, but I guess not.

Actually, I think that is correct. The club table only pricing is 'standard' for the Vegas clubs. That's why it's a better value to go for the dinner VIP package.

the lady did say "for a table of 2 to 4". If so, one could potentially split that between three others (thinking.....)

I'm pretty sure it's been posted before that the $375 price is per couple. If there are four people (i.e. two couples) at the table, it's $750.

Actually, I just came back from seeing him Dec. 8 and 9. The first night I stood but the second night me and my sister split a VIP table with two other orgers/quakers for $375. We all paid like $93.75 a piece.

yeah, it's $375 for 2 people or 4 people. It's just more economical to split the cost, if you can find 3 more people than one other person.

Couple as in two people. Whether you sleep with them or not is your business.

Yeah, they don't care if you're an actual couple, just if there are two or four of you. As I said in my previous post, it was me, my twin sister and two women we met on this board who split a table. There was a table of four next to us also. One couple had paid their $375 to sit at it. There was also a brother and his sister who paid their $375 to sit at the table as well. None of them knew each other at that table.

i just got back from las vegas had the general admission tickets, wanted to upgrade to vip... they ( rio staff ) wanted 700$ plus 2 bottles on the table at all times. neutral 700$ plus the tickets we had already purchased ... BUT AT THE END OF THE DAY PRINCE IS WORTH EVERY PENNY ... so if you can go as vip then spend the extra cash... that's my 2cents about it all...

this table package thing is a bit confusing. my friends and i are planning to go at the end of january. if indeed 2 to 4 people can sit at a table for $312 i'm sure we would consider sitting at a table both nights. it doesn't sound right, but i hope it's true. for some reason i thought the vip package was $312 for 2 people only and if you had 3 people in your party you would pay $700.

I spoke with the Rio folks in depth about the tables. For the New Year's weekend, all of the prices were raised. General admission standing tickets are 312. For a VIP table, it's $375 per person - NO dinner and does not include tix. For the dinner and table with bottle service, it's $500 and change - on top of the tickets.
Cool, but I'm leavin' my pants on.
