I will be attending the Nov.24th and 25th shows. Iam disabled and was wondering, did anyone notice if there was a hadincapped section?. Someone said that there is a second level of tables that arenot 700 dollars, and is there for people who's feet get tired. Is this true? I really want to attend the shows, but am unable to stand all night, but don't want to spend 700 dollars on a table. I've called the Rio, but they seem to know less about this than I do.

Thankyou for your reply. I'm glad you enjoyed the show. I'm going to go and ask them if I can bring a chair in or worse case, sit on the floor, or maybe the steps, just play it by ear.But, standing up all night is no longer an option for me.

This is not true, I know a waitress there and she was working a section of tables on the top level both Friday and Saturday. She told me that her section was NOT VIP and that people can sit anywhere they can find a seat. Each table at the top level has 6 chairs with one in between each table. So there were free tables to sit at on friday and saturday. There was no rope to block this area like there are for the VIP section. (which you need the correct color wristband to enter) When I got too hot from being in the crowd I went to the top row and found a chair and could see fine. I spoke with a lady in a wheelchair and she was put on the top row of tables but try to get on the rail as opposed to being against the outside wall because if you are on the outside you may have a problem with people who are on the rail standing up.

This arrangement may change if there comes a need for more VIP tables but if you are in a wheelchair you will be accomodated regardless.

I've seen Prince 7 times, I am in a wheelchair, seen him 4 times since I've been a quad, and my civil rights have been violated at Prince concerts in Hartford and at Madison Square Garden! So don't tell me Rio in Vegas is gonna accomodate me, I don't believe that 4 a second! Some Vegas venues are ADA compliant but they don't have 2 be, they all have shark lawyers who will find loopholes 2 get out of compliancy. Prince has got a lot of nerve 2 do general admission shows anyway, in my opinion he is risking his own fans' lives by doing that, especially his disabled fans! If Prince cared at all about the disabled, we would b front row! That's the only place we can see from at a standing room only concert, re: Roseland in NYC! When I saw Frankie Valli at the Flamingo in Vegas, they brought me right 2 the front row! Rio needs a lesson on how 2 deal with handicapped customers, and Prince only cares about the almighty dollar! What do u say about that, tough guy? The truth hurts.

Remember the 11 people trampled 2 death at an Ohio General Admission Who concert in 1979!

But you are, so pick up the fucking phone and call the Rio to make arrangements. I was there last weekend and I saw two people in wheelchairs and they were brought up front. I don't know where they were seated but I did see them speaking with the Rio staff.

My guess is that if Prince would have known about what happened to you,he would have helped.

I was treated so well and kind at the celebrations and all the general admissions shows,I sometimes felt guilty. One time I even met him at a hotel and when he got in a van, instead ofthem driving off, he waited on me to get to the van so I could speak to him and he was so kind I wasn't even that self concious. He could have very easy told the driver to go before I got there.

One time at a London show, Prince acknowledged a man in a wheelchair and gave him something from the stage.

There have been other events that's too long to write, but I never blame Prince for the couple of times I've had bad experiences at the venues.

I saw this happen at Mill City. Someone was trying to push their way up to the front with a wheelchair and when the crowd of people who had been waiting all day refused to let him any further he got out of his chair and walked away.

i went in the show, spoke with the people inside the club behind the desk, and they gave me a seat after i explainedto them my med condition which makes it hard to stand
