The smell of the club is still on my clothes. I really feel like I spent the weekend with Prince, eating his food, smelling his smells, feeling his vibe, and letting him take my savings. I've never had a better time in Vegas. If you come I would get the VIP package. But you can also do dinner and then dance at the show and stand for the concert and save a few dollars. Saturday night all the people in the regular line appeared confused as to why the member line was getting in first. Some appeared angry and jealous. This can only create more interest in the new 3121 fan club. I bet it will open soon so all fans can get the opportunity to be up front.

I want it to be known that I wrote a report about Saturday nights show within two hours of it ending...Matter of fact I wrote it twice but when I went to publish this brand new Sony Vaio laptop that I just bought froze on me! I was so frustrated and tired that I just had to go to bed since it was past 4 am. I'm now back in Hawaii and late 4 work this morning...I'll try to write something up again later tonight...Sorry but I did really try...Aloha~

Went to 3121 saturday night. Stood in line for three hours and finally got in. Don't remember much unfortantly but Prince did come down from the stage and walked through the audience on the dance floor (just for a quick minute). I'm short so it was really hard to see from dance floor so I suggest to anyone that plans on going get a table for 300 at the door or buy advance vip tickets. Unless your tall then you'll have a good view.

You all can catch a full chronological setlist and review elsewhere...but one funny moment I remember was during "If I Was Your Girlfriend", he ended it w/ the breakdown where he usually asks if he can pick out your clothes, take you to the movies, etc...but instead he sang: "Can I make you breakfast sometime?...Y'ALL KNOW I LIKE PANCAKES!!" An eruption of laughter followed! Other highlights were "Around the World in a Day" which I've never seen live!! The guitar playing and vocals on "Shhh";P playing an intro w/ Mr. Hayes on the keys to "Black Sweat." Also, "Pink Cashmere was sublime - another one I never thought I'd see live. And oh man!! That performance of "Get on the Boat" was dirty, stinky, stomping funk - and he made the faces to show it. Bu he lied, said they would play that one for two hours...but was at least a good 10-12 min. Had me reminscing about that "It's Gonna Be A Beautiful Night" performance on the SOTT concert film! Ok, sorry, only meant to tell you about that first part smile
