This is perfect for Prince. He can create a show that encapsulates his appeal and artistic vision, whilst, essentially, giving the finger to the fans that have supported him throughout the "diffficult" times.

I cannot wait to get to see a Prince Vegas show. It will be awesome. It is such a shame, however, that this music pioneer is succumbing to the buck and the bang of a high profile engagement.

Prince playing Vegas?

The Stones are still playing a world tour, and Prince, who is younger at 48 than Jagger was at 28 or Richards I suspect ever was, is relegating himself to old fart territory?

If he continues doing proper tours and playing for the fans that, ya know, gave a shit about him when everybody else was laughing at his skinny ass, then I guess it's cool. But if he doesn't? Meh.

Vegas'll be a money-maker, no question. But speaking as a fan the whole idea of our Brat playing in a lounge is so terribly depressing. Maybe I'm just bitter because I still haven't gotten a chance to see Prince live, I dunno.
