Psst.... A whisper from a Greek in Melbourne Australia.. Just when I was feelin a lil sombre about not being able 2 attend what will surely bcome a monumental p4mance by Prince in my country of origin, a leading Melbourne newspaper reports 2day that Prince is among other music GIANTS queing 2 p4m 'Down Under'...make that 'Dawn Under'...

THANKYOU christos7 for getting a source to the rumour. Unfortunately, a rumour is just that. and the Herald Sun is great at using rumours for filler. Still, it's something to go on, but I'll be happier with something DEFINATE coming from the man himself. |

Hey U know what, that's my pleasure united1878.
In my opinion a single line of text in an article doesnt quite substantiate a 'filler' as such, although I understand where ur coming from. My understanding is that Michael Gudinski's Frontier Touring Co. has handled all Princes affairs here in the past, and it seems the Herald Sun is simply conveying something from the promoter himself. It's just a pity the word rumour is used which has such a negative connotation. 2 say Prince is rumoured 2 b touring is hardly malicious, and hey if some peeps like my goodself get a lil excited at the prospect of the possibility of a tour, and if it brings a lil ray of sunshine 2 an individuals life... I don't quite c the harm in that. The intensity, and negativity surrounding some folks post wanting 2 quash such rumours really does astound me... c'mon guys, it's really not that serious.
