As sad as it makes me sometimes...sometimes it snows in april is possibly one of the best songs ever written...I have gotten a lot of people into prince (people who swore they didn't like anything about him) with that song...simply beautiful! | |

PARADE is just one great song of an album,
I mean the way the songs follow each other, especially the first three, but also moutains that seem to burst out of venus de milo, and the gitarrif of kiss after do u lie and then building it up with anotherloverholeinyohead and the most emotional ending in april. This is to perfect. so picking one is difficult, but perhaps MOUNTAINS, for the sheer joy and hope that shines out of that song. | |

I've always thought that Prince's supposed dissatisfaction at this album was always meant as a shot to Wendy & Lisa since really this album is the three of them at the peak of their powers...even most the outtakes from this era (Others Here With Us, In A Large Room With No Light) are excellent.
