Well, none of the above.

It should be Dublin.

Not going to happen though, seeing as he's played here once in the last 10 years. I predict a trip to the Ryanair website in the near future.

No, me either. I checked the official website but there's no information. Nothing. Just a few old copies of The Watchtower scattered on the floor.

Sadly, you're probably right, but one can hope! Most bands have fortunately realised that you can sell out concerts in Dublin in 3 minutes flat, just like any other city. I assume (probably wrongly) that somebody advises Prince which cities/venues are worth playing, Dublin is no different to any other major European city in that respect.

If Prince decides not to play here it'll probably be because of the reaction (or lack thereof) he got last time during that brief interlude when he tried to sell God to us, and we weren't buying.

I predict a trip to the Ryanair website in the near future.

That is definitely not going to happen, for me anyway. If it came to it, I'd rather swim across the Irish sea than give that bunch of wank stains another cent of my money.

Yeah, that was rather strange sitting up in the NPGMC seats, being made an example of holiness, seeing as I'm a devout atheist.

I hope you're right about a concert but if it's only a few dates and not a full Euro tour, I'm not expecting much.

biggrin

I'm also a devout atheist, but I was in the cheap seats, so I was one of the heathens. Was that the bit where he was trying to get everybody to join the club, and he called you guys the rainbow children, and kept going on and on about how we should all join the club ?

The bit I'm talking about is when he asked three God questions. Something like 'Do you believe in God' (a few cheers), 'Do you pray to God' (a couple of yay's), 'Do you love God' (complete silence). He seemed sort of confused and slightly pissed off by the lack of reaction.

I hope you're right about a concert but if it's only a few dates and not a full Euro tour, I'm not expecting much.

nod Yeah, I won't be getting my hopes up anyway.
