Hi guys,

Has anyone bought the 2 DVD's of Prince called "Homecoming" and "In Motion"?? I think they are released somewhere in europe like in Germany. I would be so thankful if someone has any information on it and what it is, I hope so much that both are concerts from the early 1980's. I would also like to know how the quality is on those so please don't hesitate to write to me

I've got the Homecoming dvd. It's a very good performance but the picture/sound quality is not great. It's pro shot but only one camera so it kinda feels homemade. My advice would be not to pay more than a few quid for it.

I also bought the homecoming dvd. it's a show from 1983. i never have seen other concerts from that period. but if you like the stuff from that time i would recommend it to you. i think the show is great. It must be the last tour before purple rain.

Kris, it's definitly worth a go. Actually I watched it again the other day and enjoyed it much more. The picture quality is moderate but the performance is great. I still wouldn't pay too much for it. I think you can find stills from this dvd here: http://www.thedatabank.or...dybird.htm

Thanx so much for sending me that web site and I just have to buy some DVD's with Prince, I did not know that there were so many DVD's with Prince, you know I only have Purple Rain the movie in my collection yet but I am building my collection slowly, Thanx again Martin you're an angel

Hi Kris

The Ladybird label is, as far as I'm aware, a bootleg label so you're not likely to find them in the shops. The best place to look is on ebay, that's where I get all my dvds from. Whereabouts are you, are you in the U.S.?
