Hello everyone!

T's me RaneStarr ~ eye came back after many years of absence at the org just 2 give y'all the down low on what happened at Mansion Saturday the 18th!!!

eye was there, armed with a camera and all ( 2 the haterz!) we got there at 6:30 2 pick up the tickets and make the line. They let us in at around 7:15. NPGclub members were let in first, so a bunch of them already were up by the stage waiting 4 the show to start/holding their spot. There werent' 2 many of them, so eye was right up there in the front!! We all stood around till 9:15pm (YES stood around staring at an empty stage and some girl DJ playing old funk jams and old P songs)

At 9:15 GOD aka Prince walked up on stage and the crowd went bananas! he was RIGHT UP THERE IN OUR FACES AS IF HE WERE A NEWBIE PERFORMER TRYING 2 GET FANS! IT WAS NUTS! THIS LEGEND WAS RIGHT IN FRONT OF ALL THESE REGULAR FOLK! IT WAS CRAZZZZZY!

HE WAS ON STAGE FOR 2 HRS WITH TAMAR! eye thought he was only going 2 sing 2 songs with her and bounce but NO he was there on stage the entire show!

Brothaman even sang a MICHAEL JACKSON SONG with Tamar LOOOOOL ... yes u heard me right MJ! He was singing the hook!

Tamar sang covers of Janet Jackson, Aretha, old disco song, and a few of songs from the new album. that gurl can sing her A$$ off! she's very passionate, and she sings 4rom her GUT!! She is a combo of Tina Turner meets Beyonce... Choreography was a little 2 much. Eye guess she's still "finding herself". eye'm gonna give her some time 2 find her own COMPLETE style. Overall she was amazing though. Her voice is very pure, soulfull and funky.

Fans were asked 2 come up on stage and a lot of us did!!, (not me though cuz eye was wearing a dress and could not hop the stage! (no stairs?) anways, P was very approachable except with this crazy chick who kept hopping on stage trying 2 get close 2 him and catching his attention. HE TOTALLY IGNORED HER loooool she was groupielike... anyways, one cat got on stage and sang "play that funky music white boy" after Tamar asked the audience who knew the song! after a bunch of people got up on stage (including the groupie chick) and didn't know the song the fan finally took the mic and did his thang! he was great! P also took off his guitar and gave it 2 the crowd!!! eye got to hold the guitar!!! the crowd was holding on 2 it so damm hard security had to come and remove it from us! lol

HIM AND TAMAR KEPT SAYING HOW MUCH THEY LOVED THE CROWD!! AND HE SURE PROVED IT BECAUSE after we thought the show was over, the crowd got all hyper and started yelling out P's name and he snuck back on stage and sang PURPLE RAIN he was like "I'm doing this only 4 u Miami!!!" eye started crying, ppl around me started crying LOL it was crazy! He also sang "Lets go Crazy" after that. He shook hands with fans from up on stage! he didn't shake mine but eye got 2 touch his hand and his sleeve!!! eye yelled in2 his face "PRINCE!!!" and he looked like me like "eye'm right here girl, calm down..." LOL

at the end the crew handed out tambourines 2 some fans, some woman got a tissue with his sweat on it eye ended up getting a guitar pick

NO ONE HAD CAMERAS EXCEPT ME AND THIS OTHER PERSON!!! SINCE HE WAS REALLY THERE TO PROMOTE TAMAR HE DIDN'T CARE ABOUT FANS TAKING PICS! OR VIDEO! SO EYE TOOK BOTH!!!!!

the man does not need to be doing clubs!!! but he did it for her, cuz she can't sell out stadiums and she needs the exposure, and it was awesome that he did that, it was so intimate and he was right there in my face... it was just amazing, cuz at his level he doesnt' need to play at clubs!

I know the "groupie chic" your talking about, I call her the broke ass Alicia Keys.

I was the girl standing right in front with the ponytail to the side and the big guy wearing blue standing in back of me. I had a look of awe on my face most of the nite and my hand was the 1st one up that he grabbed siiiiigh.

WOW!!! How did U get such good pictures???? Even if he didn't care, I would have been afraid the security guys would have caught me.

nice pics. how much of the show did you videotape?

eye videoed him going crazy on guitar a couple of times :rock: and eye also have him singing Purple Rain

eye have over 70 pics (eye was in the first row)

P was kind enough 2 go on tour with Tamar. She needs the publicity hence y he let pics be taken and he played at a small venue/club. So BRING IT BIACH! ~

No, I was NOT on STAGE. I was 6 rows back wearing black and white and Crazy Snake Boots and white furry lamb coat. I DON"T FEEL the NEED to GET UP ONSTAGE cause who CARES I wanna WATCH PRINCE ONLY. The pics are AWESOME . It was a GREAT show. I was OVERJOYED he did Beautiful Strange in the beginning and as an Encore PURPLE RAIN and Let'S GO CRAZY. I ADORE him.

Hey I was there with my dreadlocks and all. I was about 4 rows back and there were people snappin pics left and right. And he doesn't care, he doesn't run after the frivilous things, this Bro' is on top of his game!

Thanks for the great pics. It was a fantastic night. My first time seeing him in a small venue. He and Tamar really gave 100% and their chemistry and energy was infectious. I was standing directly in front of his mic stand so whenever he came to the edge of the stage and crouched down I was inches from him. When he pointed to me and smiled, I couldn't hear what he said to me, but I was Then during Rock Steady he nodded and smiled at me again, apparently because I was the only one nearby who knew the words (yay for the 'ol skool). Hearing Beautiful Strange played only a few feet in front of me blew my mind because it's one of my to 10! When he shook my hand I was expecting sweaty, but his hand was warm, dry and soft. I should have known 'cuz he's the master of
Got a couple of guitar pic afterwards, too.

This tour is gonna be the best in ages! I hope he brings Tamar because I think she's great.
