Those were professionals shots, obviously not taken with a camera phone. I didn't see anyone with a real camera taking photos, but I was way up front. I do know that if you held your cellphone up. a guy in front of the stage shot a flashlight beam at you.

I wonder who was taking the photos, and if Prince knew about it? Maybe it was someone connected with the venue. And if they took pictures, what else did they do?

Hmmmmm...

The pictures were attached to a website. I saw the name in the properties when I was uploading them to my photobucket account. I didn't catch the actually web address because I was so busy trying to upload them because I had a feeling they were going to be taken down. Some of the pictures were of Tamar and the Twins on a couch. It's possible those came from npgmusicclub.com. The other ones were shots of the actual performance. And yes, they looked very professional. I have no idea if P was connected to the person that took the concert shot photos.

There was a guy walking around taking professional shots. In fact, he was right behind you when you were up on stage! He also took a shot of the crowd at the end of the show, just before the lights came up.

I arrived at the venue around 10:00..entered the building around 11:30.
While some went straight to the bathroom or the bar.... I worked myself into a good spot center stage, looking for my fellow die-hard fans!
Note to self: no heels...wear comfortable shoes next time! Oooo-weee!
The lady DJ Rashida funktified the joint spinning Cameo, Parliament, Rick James, and of course ours truly.
The show was spectacular! Prince blew me away in the nosebleeds and just being that close made my mouth drop open in awe of the man! I just really have no words to describe...
Tamar can SANG! And I'm picky about my female singers. I like a deep down soulful who hurt you so bad that made you break it down like that, Aretha, Chaka, Patti, Lauryn type of soul singer. And she and Prince brought it just like that with a nice mix of old school R&B covers and her debut songs. I will definitely pick up that album in May!
Just seeing Ant Boogie, Louis, and many other familiar faces make it onstage made me so happy and proud for them! It felt so natural just havin a funky good time!
A dream come true...made it backstage afterwards and I'm still trying to wrap my head around it! Truly a night to remember! biggrin

it was great seeing all the members again...

everyone's already said it but TAMAR was off da' chain!! Dat' girl can blow...i would love to see her again. Like txladycat, i was focused a lot on her, not prince...she held my attention and was very entertaining! YO GO GIRL!

I fought some guy for the first towel...no luck (congrats to the guy w/ the stevie wonder braids...hope i didn't hurt your back from jumping ontop of you! LOL!)

I got to touch the guitar...so cool! I was close enough to enjoy the show. I left after the play that funky music set because my feet were SO swolen! I had been standing in line since 7 p.m. in heels (like a dumb ***!!)...this my first time going all the way for a show and I didn't think it would be that bad.

I love prince (and TAMAR!), but I'll see him (her) in the stadiums from now on...I can't take waiting like we did...and all the drama from people about others cutting in line...URG! So in making this decision, I know I'm giving up chances to see prince really get down in intimate settings...but my feet are necessary for my job!

Big claps to Ant boogie for singing that song the way he did...he even had me jumping...prince was so funny when he was like "he's doing the second verse to!"

Also big claps to the white boy who danced last in the black t-shirt. He not only had some rythum but had all the cool moves to...like east coast style....you go boy!

As my and my date walked out from the front of the stage, prince started saying..."it ain't over, it ain't over!!" of course I knew it wasn't over and i hated each step i took toward the door, but dude, i couldn't take it anymore...when i got outside, finally, i was walking like i'd been gang raped...my feet STILL hurt! never again! never again!

all in all...it was still worth it!

thanks prince and tamar for a great show!

i felt bad for the guys in the back because the small glimse I took before walking out appeared like all you could see was prince's head...if i were back there i probably would have missed all of tamar's cool dance moves.

did i say i SO enjoyed TAMAR???

I SO ENJOYED TAMAR!!
The only thing that stays the same is change!
