Please help me out on this one, Heard from a friend that Prince will be on tour this Summer (2006)! Can anyone confirm or deny this rumor? Also if this is true does anyone know where he is going to perfom? Hopefully VA or D.C.

Please change the title of this thread. It is very misleading, like there's some information that he's touring instead of what it is, a question regarding whether or not he's touring.

Yes, yes, yes there will be many, many concerts in the UK this summer, I know this from a very, very reliable source. As you probably remember my auntie has been working in the personal hygiene business. And after making some huge promotions Prince himself asked her to come and work at 3121, the new big white mansion. Well, she was doing just fine and chitchatting around with Prince, Wendy, Lisa and Sheila who, as y’all know, all have phoned home. So get ready Manchester, Birmingham and London in July 2006. James and Sly will join all the after shows. But very sadly she has lost her job again already because as she was practising her sousaphone in Prince’s estate she lost her coordination on the stairs while playing (or should I say practising) ‘She’s always in my hear’. I must add her drinking behaviour must have added to Prince’s fury, she should have known (dot, dot, dot) this was not the latest fashion in the mansion. Anyways: she didn’t slipped, tripped and fell in love but slipped, tripped and landed with the horn of her sousaphone on Prince’s just styled up hair cut and made some final indefinable noises. Needless to say our main man was not amused and gave her the sack. But if you wish I can supply you with a complete tour schedule of all coming European concerts 2006.

My auntie is working as a lavatory attendant at the Nighttown club in Rotterdam, she is actually maintaining intimate relations with the manager and she overheard him making a deal with Prince on the telephone and confirm he would give an aftershow after the June 19 concert together with Wendy and Lisa, Sheila E and Mavis Staples. My auntie said she wanted to participate in the concert (she’s actually quit good with her sousaphone she’s practising during the quieter moments of her work) and Prince said he would certainly think about it. And the concert won’t be sold as an aftershow because then all the fams won’t pay any extra’s for it, it will be a regular concert at an exceptional hour (excuse me but I’ve got the memory of an elephant). Well, wow...if that ain’t reliable information tell me what is?? Wait a minute, while I get my yaya’s and tambourine out and ask my auntie if she’s also got the dates of the other European concerts in 2006.

I heard through the grapevine that the aftershow after the Brits was cancelled 'cause there was something with her sousaphone and Prince was too disappointed. And now she started her own travel and concert agency and asked me to post this message for her:

that's going to be a fine concert in Detroit indeed, Mavis will sing and Wendy and Lisa are going to be there as well and also Sheila E. I looked on the ticket master website, and just recently it started to say Dates Scheduled Nationally... but doesn't list them yet! If anyone knows anything Id love to know

oh ticketmaster does say that he has dates scheduled....i guess that's a good sign there.

I can't wait until this tour starts.
