i got tickets to snl...looking for aftershow well...i pulled a couple strings and i'm lucky enough to be in the audience at snl to watch prince perform and steve martin host.
actually i'm going to be at the dress rehersal which happens at 7:30 and lasts till 9:30. they do a complete runtrough of a 120 minute version of the show. between 9:30 and 11:30 they make some last minute decisions and they cut the show down to 90 minutes and goes live at 11:30 with a fresh audience. i'm thinking the chances of an aftershow are pretty high...but i need some thoughts on this so i can come up with a game plan. also any aftershow or afterparty will likeley include the cast. i know they have a cast party every saturday night... thoughts?? | |

keep your options and hopes UP ... with Prince u never know ... if he wants to i am sure he will find a place ....
candy has played at BB KINGS ... and Prince had an "afterparty " there after his NYC shows the other year .... he did not perform though ... so it is kinda tough to guesstimate ... at this point ??!!  | |

Congrats on scoring tix to SNL. Very impressive. I was thinking he still might do a Sat. aftershow. I have no basis for that belief, but with Prince, its seems like anything is possible. He has been doing all these shows as a "special guest" to Tamar--but Saturday is his night (even though I'm going tomorrow night, I really hope SNL is Prince only) so maybe he'll do an Aftershow. I can't remember where I saw it, but the ad for SNL says that he'll be performing with Tamar, but I am hoping that Black Sweat will be one of the songs. He'll probably do BLB with her. | |

I got invited to an afterparty and or aftershow back when I was at Nokia Theater in NYC Thursday night and I never got a call so I doubt there was one...
