Do You Think Prince might show up at the Maxwell concert in Toronto on August 3rd? That would be cool to see. It would be awesome if Prince was at the concert and if Maxwell invited him up on stage to perform.
Has anybody seen a concert collaboration between these two? I think tickets are still available at http://www.ticketmaster.ca for the Maxwell concert. | |

I really doubt Prince would get up on stage... but I wouldn't be surprised to see him there.
Actually, I would be surprised to see Prince at the show REASON: guys like Maxwell and D'angelo are Prince's only competition right now interms of both critical acclaim and commercial success. Both these guys are recording good records and are building momentum to make even better records, sort of like Prince did early in his career, These guys probaly the burning drive that Prince says he's lost and I'm sure Prince knows this! Further still, this is the same reason why Prince chooses to invite and give props to guys like Musiq and Glenn Lewis (both are half asses, D'angelo is the founder of the 'neo-soul' sound). If you don't know, Prince brought Glenn Lewis up on stage at the Toronto ONA show. In conclusion, I doubt Prince will show up. He's got a lot of pride and has proven this several times through out his career... Prince is a BAD mother fucker!! | |

Ivana Santilli was at the concert too. Damn, she's fine. I talked to her for a bit. Prince called him out... I spoke with Glenn Lewis after the concert and I asked him if he knew the song he was singing on... he said no. It was Girls and Boys by the way. Glenn Lewis also said that he just started listening to Prince!! Can you believe that? I saw members from the Philosopher Kings at the show as well as the dark brown haired girl from Sugar Jones and her producer there as well. Awesome show huh? | |
