Toronto Show@Massey Hall...Need Help!

Does anybody know the seating plan of Massey Hall?

I need to know what the codes mean, example, 'SECTION R.C.G., ROW G, SEATS 74 TO 75', is that the gallery seating?

'SECTION L.S.F., ROW Q, SEATS 4 TO 4' is that floor seating?

Also, is gallery seating better than balcony seating?

If anybody can help me it would be much appreciated. The web site for Massey Hall stinks.

by the looks of it you're on the floor, wayy back in row q

the floor level is the only one with a row Q
L probably means left of stage (S)?

but any seat in there is pretty good

Gallery is above balcony.

Question, are the gallery seats better than the balcony seats? If they are not, Prince has some fucking nerve asking $150.00 for those fucking seats!

Why don't I do my research? How about ticketmaster being fucked up enough to say we can only give you seats for what comes up on the computer? I called the first day tickets went on sale. I waited 30 mins before I could talk to somebody and they wanted to give me obstructed view seats even back then.

It's a little game ticketmaster plays. I have floor seats but my other friends have gallery seats that are waaay back.

I hope they have a good view because I heard that even if you have shitty seats at Massey Hall, you still have a good view

i dont know how ticketmaster works. im in no way defending them. they may have a communication problem between the online and phone systems though.

it helps to get a map of the venue beforehand and ask for a specific section...this way u beat them at their "game"

Yep! it sure doesn't work. I was 3rd in line to get tickets at a tickemaster outlet while at the same time I was put on hold via cell phone. By the time my turn came up at the outlet, all that was left were obstructed gallery seats at Massey Hall.

I quickly asked for Hamilton tickets instead. When he told me what was available, having never been there, my specific questions could not be answered at that time. It was a 'take it or leave it, and hurry the fuck up' type of deal.

In the end I got section OR4R, row G. I've tried calling the venue for more specifics but no one ever answers. My uneducational guess is that I'm 15th row from the front. I tried ticketmaster' and Hamilton Palace's seating charts (web sites) to no avail. How else can I confirm this information... not that at this point matters but I really hate unpleasant surprises.
