has the setlist changed enough to justify Prince's claim that this tour would have no setlists? That certainly wasn't the case on the first leg of the tour.

I don't know where you got the idea there was not a setlist. During the Q&A in Vancouver Prince responded he was using a setlist.

I think a press release stated this when the tour started. I never believed that anyway.

In the original Press Release from Paisley, "No setlist, No Bungee Cords,etc..." However, any press release from Paisley should also read, subject to change...Prince has broken promises before, and will again..

Well he has altered the "setlist" a bit throughout the tour, adding songs here and there, and taking some songs out... on that technicality perhaps he can still get away with saying "no setlist." "That...magic, the start of something revolutionary-the Minneapolis Sound, we should cherish it and not punish prince for not being able to replicate it."-Dreamshaman32

He probably altered the setlist just as much on the Hit N Run Tour. Barely...if at all.

If there's one thing that it would be stupid to forget it would be that Prince is forever changing his mind. So what if he said at the beginning that the setlist would be forever changing. Now it isn't (radically) doing so. That's Prince. That's the scatty mind of a prolific musician.
I don't honestly think it matters too much!
