Help 4 A Friend in Toronto

I have a friend who doesn't make much money. He bought tickets to the Prince concert @ Massey Hall. Tickemaster stuck him with 'SECTION R.C.G., ROW G, SEATS 74 TO 75', that is the gallery, way, way waaay back.

I was wondering if somebody from the Org that had extra tickets that were better seating to that concert wouldn't mind selling them. Maybe on the floor or balcony.

Since he doesn't make so much money, I will buy them for him from anybody who is willing to take up my offer.

Or he can sell his pair to somebody and purchase your pair with that money

Also remember that Massey Hall only seats about 2,500 so how far up can your friend be? It's not like skydome my friend, it's a tiny little place. If your friend needs to see the sweat drip off his face, then tell him to bring a pair of binoculars. Oh yeah, I forgot, the little man doesn't sweat, he just smells fine all the time.

Funny how people talk when they have good seats. Yes Bob, he tried calling Ticketmaster twice and both times they gave him a choice of shitty seats. What would you do if you knew the show was selling out fast and you needed tickets badly? You would take what you could get, especially second time around.

First time around they offered him $99.00 obstructed view seats.

Have faith! You never know, he may be able to sneak up to better seats or how about this? Why doesn't your friend tell them he has a terrible fear of heights - they should relocate him to at least ground floor..smile

hope it works out. The sound is sooo amazing at Massey Hall and binoculars will really do the trick. He'll be up and dancing and forget about how crappy his seats are

Peace!!
p.s.
Ticketmaster sucks!!! People who work there always hold the good seats for themselves and friends.

He had friends from out of town who can no longer make the trip to the T-dot. He has balcony 3rd, 5th and 7th row @ Massey Hall and possibly Hamilton. I think they are asking for only what they paid for them.

Good luck... Now about $... There is a pretty good discussion on the General Comments section called "Prince the capitalist?" Check it out.

He had to save up to get 2 tickets to the Massey Hall show. He cannot afford the kind of money to get an NPGMC membership + he doesn't have a computer because he can't afford it. He can't afford a lot of things and he doesn't buy a lot of things. He was really looking forward to Prince and saved his hard earned cash and got crap seats.

I never asked people to donate there seats, this post is called, 'Help 4 A Friend in Toronto'. I asked if anybody had any extra tickets that they were willing to sell. I also made mention that I would buy the tickets for him.

If you made less than $10,000 yearly and you saved that money to see somebody you have been wanting to see for a long time. You would be pretty mad at the fact that you are paying top dollar for crap seats

and i can talk like this cuz i guaranteed myself good seats. yeah.

That's just your luck.

I know a lot of fans who will not get to go see Prince at all because much like your friend, they can no longer afford to be a fan. Many of them live pay cheque to pay cheque.

I wanted to take this opportunity to commend you on being a friend. As I said before, email utopyanmuzik@yahoo.com for tix. Good luck.

Thanks for your help Ronnie, I really appreciate it. It is good to know that you have a good heart. I talked to my friend about it, and what I am going to do is give him my seats on the floor and take his gallery seats, I mean I have seen Prince in concert so many times. If the man is performing at an afterparty, I don't mind shelling out an extra $60 or $70 bucks for my friend and I to see him
