says it all up there...you should be able to cop a pass or two while you're waitin' on the show to start...if not, possibly outside the walker aft. the show. .::'xpert lover, my baby. ever had a crystal ball?' - crystal ball::.

heh, heh...
let's just say it got 'purple rain'-ed on. once prince's people found out about the avenue's one nite alone afterparty, they threatened the club with legal action. one mistake was that the passes being handed out at the walker had prince on them...obviously a big no-no. i told the club promoter to make sure he didn't put his name on there b/c of copyright issues but he did anyway. the passes were confiscated at the walker and the avenue was told that if they went ahead after the concert that they would sue. it's too bad. people showed up at the club aft the concert w/ their passes and we told them to just proceed to le rendez-vous. the word got around town pretty fast; even TV and radio newscasts were talking about it. oh well. it was a gamble from jump and we knew it. truthfully, we weren't expecting him to do an 'official' afterparty in some prairie hamlet with less than 1 million people. .::'xpert lover, my baby. ever had a crystal ball?' - crystal ball::.
