Prince's Soundcheck and Concert

When we get into the soundcheck and find a seat, do we stay seated after the soundcheck and wait for the concert to start or do we have to leave the concert hall then come back later on in the evening for the concert?

How long is soundcheck usually?

Have any of you been to a Prince afterparty? If so, how was it?

Actually prettyman... in New York, we didn't have to leave the theater... many folks remained in their seat while others stepped out for refreshments or to buy tour merchandise.

The ushers knew to only allow members into the members-only area, but if you step away, it's good to take turns with someone in your area or from your group holding your seat.

In Seattle, the soundcheck lasted about 30 mins. We got to mingle with other members & Takumi(Prince's guitar tuner), get refreshments, and shop for tour merchandise in the lobby. Like NuPwrSoul said "it's good to take turns with someone in your area or from your group holding your seat."

After the concert, there was an afterparty at the EMP(Experience Music Project). Only NPGMC members were allowed inside. We got 2 hangout at the bar, listen to some crappy music, while Prince got a tour of the museum. Not much went on...but it was better than nothin.

I attended 7 shows so far and sometimes we had to leave and come back in and sometimes we didn't.
Sometimes the soundchecks were long and some were very short. At two of the soundcheks I attended there was a crazy person in attendence that ruined it for the rest of the fans and Prince cut both of these short. Like they only lasted about 15 min.
