Ik reken er op dat hij komt! breaking news: prince is coming! saturday afternoon: i was eating some nice piece of fish, when Hans Mantel comes and sits next to me. saturday afternoon they were recording the leader for the broadcast of sunday. several acts being broadcast by NPS were mentioned, including Candy Dulfer and Sheila E and "maybe Prince will come to show up". this is something you won't just mention in a leader. a bit later i spoke to him and he said that Prince likes showing up at places without any notice. i am counting on it. i am not. yet. i wanna keep my hair! If Prince does make it to NSJF tonight then there should be a major after-party and jam session somewhere! Usually it's the Bel-Air hotel, but if I recall when Prince was last in NL he played the Ahoy and the after-party was at a place called NightTown I believe? Somehere near Rotterdam...
Personally I'd much rather party in Amsterdam! Last December I was lucky to be back there and caught Candy at Paradiso on her final show of the year which was AWESOME!!! Great party in the basement of Paradiso after the show until 05:00, so very cool, got to meet everyone in the band and Candy's mom Inge is very cool too (and Hans is cool too!) Would be a great moment if Prince plays tonight and they jam some NEWS tunes... Keep up the hope y'all, anything can happen... STU | |

Dankuwel for the full translation!!! Not as meaningful as I had hoped for... Hope you don't have to pull out your hair but if he does show up you can always grow it back! Awaiting any other clues or comments... They are scheduled to begin in 2.5 hours for now... WISH I WAS THERE!!! Party on y'all and peace2all

Very good... I'm keeping an eye on the NSJF 'remo-cam' which is showing views of the food court area outside the Statenhal (some live, some delayed). How cool technilogy is!!! I'm also listening over the internet live while seeing what I can on the remo-cam. If the people would stop zooming all around and just focus on the big screen that would be even better! Love Candy and her band!!! | |

Soneone just did a great job of focusing on the screen! Must have been you! Soooo glad to be able to see and hear this performance more than any, it brings back many wonderful feelings and good vibes about that festival and the lovely Dutch women, especially Ms. Candy... She's always been a fav of mine since Saxuality
