Hey all...Just got back from my 1st "One Nite Alone" show here in Seattle. All I can say is WOW. I secured my place in line at 10:00 this morning, and met a slew of wonderful people throughout the day. Thanks 2 Kim, Robert, Rob, Star, and everyone else who made 2day so enjoyable. Now...on 2 the show. We were let in2 the soundcheck just after 5:00...My girl and I scored our front row seats, and Prince came out soon after. He was in GREAT spirits, and spent most of the souncheck just talking and interacting with us (which was fine by me!). He did play a FUNKY "Peach" and a lovely "Money Don't Matter 2nite". He also had the band play "Billie Jean" (yes, the Michael Jackson song) and Maceo played a scorching lead. Prince commented on how funky that song was, and how he should sing the words 2 "Like a Virgin" while the band played "Billie Jean". Prince also said that there are live albums coming this summer!!!! As for the show itself, it was a pretty standard ONA setlist, but I'll be damned if this isn't the best band I've EVER seen. Maceo, Candy, and Greg augment the "Rainbow Kidz" songs so perfectly. "Strange Relationship" and "1+1+1+3" stand out in my head as exceptional! I really think Prince had more fun 2night than I've seen him have in ages. No aftershow 2 report, just a lame afterparty at the Experience Music Project. Anyway, time for a bong hit and bedtime. Peace!

All the bitching will stop if he puts out them live CDs!!! I bet we will order them through the premium retail section. I buy them all! And I don't care if I'll be broke!

One thing I 4got 2 mention is that while we were all in line...a limo slowly rolled by...rolled down the window, and started snapping pictures if us in line (it looked like Mani inside). Then, a member of the ONA crew (I'm not sure who he was...really short, white, bald guy) came out and took pictures of us in line. It was kind of cool...

I've always had my doubts as to whether or not Prince would ever "officially" release a live cd. But now that he has a kick a$$ band, I really believe he just might do it this time. As for it actually being released this Summer though.... mmmm I don't know.

I heard the ONA in Chicago boot on NPRadio & it was damn good. No need to look for boots if NPGMC is bringing out cds. Hope NPGMC prices are better. Can't see them being any higher than most bootlegs but anythings possible.
