OK, now I may be jumping the gun and all, but various different friends and associates of mine keep on asking when the next Prince gig is as they have heard/read/had a premonition that it will be in London before or after Glastonbury.. I am very confused as the only thing I had heard was that there may be a slight chance that he would play on the Sunday at said muddy event.

Anyone else want to add something that a little birdy may have told them?

The Glasto rumour certainly seems to be gaining momentum. People who arent even P fans are mentioning it to me now!

Glasto is not officially going ahead yet but this is always the way. The local council always object to start with but generally their concerns get dealt with and the festival can go ahead.

Hopefully (even if there isnt a NPGMC03) the NPGMC will let us know the minute theres anything definitive.

Not sure how the NPGMC privileges would work out in a muddy field in Somerset though!!

I heard a rumor about a possible tour in Europe!!! Could this be link to the rumor about this doubtful concert in Glastonbury?

i work at a venue in west London and i can tell you now that many American bands/artists don't like to play overseas when their country is at war. it happened right after 9/11 when many American bands outright cancelled their shows in the UK and Europe. and considering Prince's flaky nature, i severly doubt if he plays anywhere outside of his bedroom. but then again, i could be completely wrong.
