I gotta say, I was there.. the show was NOT what I was expecting. I was totally completely blown away. The show was amazing.

And for all of you tripping about the billie jean thing - they didn't play it with prince on vocals. It started out as a joke, and then Prince said "That's a funky jam right there".. and he was right. Whether you dig MJ, Billie Jean IS a funky jam. They jammed on the tune with Maceo on sax for maybe 3 minutes..

Now, I've posted a lot of shit here about Larry, religion, preachiness at the shows, and reading a lot of the posts here, I anticipated something totally different that what I saw.

The whole soundcheck was amazing - and I think everyone who WASN'T there needs to understand - Billie Jean was a very cool fun inclusion. I guess you need to have been there to get it...

I have more to say about the show.. I'll post a review soon..

Isn't it ironic? Prince played Billie Jean better than MJ ever could, since MJ doesn't play any instruments. Prince could take that song in a million different directions live while MJ can only recreate the video.

Now,let's not get bitter just because Prince played a song by an artist you don't like...lol...wink

And let's not forget that, during the 1988 Lovesexy tour,Prince sometimes played a snippet of MJ's "The Way You Make Me Feel".(Don't worry,Calhoun and Butters,I said "SNIPPET"....lol...no need to get all pissed;)
