We are going to try to do a sign in sheet that will be successful.

I will have the sign in sheet & it is cool if you are holding a spot for yourself & a friend. Try not to be like yea me & 10 of my friends. Kinda messed up yo.

As each person gets in line, we will take down thier name & if they are with one guest.

It will be done by first come first serve & we will put people's names on a list & their npg "fam" name to make it easier thru will call & getting into soundcheck.

I am not trying to dictate anything just so you know.

I am just trying to help out NPGMC members have a joyful experience & help promote the Bump Squad even more.

Thier is several food places inside the Hollywood & Highland complex so no one will go hungry. =-)
(so close in fact, we can send people over to get menus n have people order n they can take the food to us).

Let's look out for everyone ok?

I have to assume that if there's an aftershow it will be on Saturday Night. He generally doesn't do an aftershow if he has a gig the next day. I've had bad luck with that scenario in the past so I'm going to both shows to be sure. This guy is sure working my pocket today. This is the show I've been waiting for.

Question can anyone tell me if when they purchased their tickets on NPG if when you look in URACCOUNT section if your Status shows IN PROGRESS? I have a confirmation number on that page but shows as in progress for the status rather than confirmed. Maybe I am just overly nervous..

U should have received an email with ur purchase information.....mayb u should try again or write the NPGMC ASAP

We did a sign-in list in Atlanta for both shows. It worked very well and I recomend everyone doing one. If you've got a list it makes it harder for people to cut in line.

Yep! Or the guest of a member who bought your ticket from the NPGMC web site. Sorry... Membership has its privilages

Aloha! I'll be there both nights and I'm staying at the Renaissance hotel which is right next door. My wife and I will probably bring two little lawn chairs and that stuff, since we'll be in line for a few hours...Since many of us will be in line for a few hours and U know it'll be hot, are people going to be wearing shorts and such? We're figuring that around 4, we'll go at seperate times back to the room and change. So I'm offering others to go up to our room and do a quick change be4 the concert and put any valubles in our room during the show, cameras and such...So if anyone is interested, just let me know and we'll all hook up in line...We gotta hook eachother up, because it's going to be a long two days!! The Kodak theatre is located indoors of Hollywood & Highland.

But since you have the option of dressing comfortably, shorts is a good idea.

I'm curious about how this works. What if someone stops by the line at 10 a.m., puts their name on the list, and then leaves and doesn't come back until 5 p.m.?

Is that person going to be able to show back up at 5 p.m. all showered fresh and clean and step in front of the sweaty funky folks who will be waiting in line for hours?

I agree with J7 on that someone has to remain in line. For every 2 people in a group, I think that one of them has to stay in line...Only by us all working together will we aleviate some of the problems that may arise from peope who show up just be4 the will/call opens...I think it'll be all good...For the most part, most Prince fans are really cool and respectfull...

for those of us who are not from the area, could we please get some help from you LA folks about where the after party/show (if there is one) is going to be and directions on how to get there? i'll have my car, so i can drive anywhere, but i'd like to know how to get there.

i'll be driving up from the mex border.... a long drive (not as long as you Bay area folks), but long nonetheless, especially if i don't get off work until noon. i don't mind being in the back of the line for Friday's show, cuz i might not get there until about 3 or 4--late. however, i'll be there, near front for Saturday's line and show.

any help please?

Absolutely NewPowerLove! We will definetly pass on the 411 of where and when any afterparty is scheduled to be. Past favorites of Prince's have been the House Of Blues (Sunset Strip), and the Key Club (also on Sunset)...but i guess we'll all find out at the same time.
