In addition to the article that appeared this past Friday in our daily newspaper The Oregonian, which I forwarded earlier today, the Wilamette Week, a weekly, sort-of-alternative publication (like The Reader available in other cities) also has this to say about the upcoming concert:

If you haven't seen Prince live in concert, there's no way you could understand why he gets away with being a diva. He's one of the few true, real, intriguing and masterfully creative performers alive today. If you're actually able to score tickets to this late-announced show, which features Maceo Parker on sax, chances are good that you will get laid."

Woohoo! I like those odds! Also in this publication, like The Oregonoian, there is a full page ad for tickets. I wasn't sure if it was Maceo or Candy who was holding town the brass on this leg of the tour.

It should be Maceo holding down as he did in Oaktown. The cat even appears IN the balcony during the show, oops, sorry to spoil the surprise..
