First and foremost I would like to say thank you to Prince and the NPG!
It was definitely worth the wait! The perks just keep getting better and better. Last year I had 3rd row center seats, and this time I got front row center! It was wonderful to see old friends and meet a lot of new ones. I love being part of the club. It allows you to be surrounded by people who share the same love for the MUSIC!!

This concert was filled with a wonderful assortment of old, new, rarely, or never heard live songs before.(At least for me) Prince knew just how far he could take us, and then graciously allowed us to take our seats, cool off and enjoy the ride.

I really feel for my girl who was called on stage, but was unable to go due to her arthritis. Believe me, she is still in the clouds. Many props to my old friend Bobby, and my new one Vicki! You two really worked it on stage. You made all us Bay Area folks proud.

I really enjoyed getting an up close look at what is really happening during the concert. It is interesting on how much you notice when you are right up front, because it is a totally different experience than when you are enveloped in the crowd.

The only thing that saddened me was when the crowd wasn't getting what Prince was trying to tell them. Especially during Joy In Repetition and Purple Rain. They were too busy singing and trying to get his attention. They missed his message. Yes there were some that were tellin' him to "preach it", "tell it" and agreeing with him, but unfortunately a lot of those people are the ones that when they are outside of the venue they are being lewd, crude, and rude. I am so thankful that they believe, but they should practice what they preach all of the time. Not just when they think someone is watching, because God is always watching! I just don't understand how people can turn it on and off so easily. It should be a part of you. (Just venting)

I was disappointed that there wasn't an after party, but have to admit that I was a bit relieved. I was too tired from the whole day's experience, and what a wonderful one it was. I am definitely revved up for the Celebration in June. I think that the members should get some kind of special privileges, if not a private Celebration. That is the whole point of the club, right?

Thanks for allowing me to share a wonderful One Nite Alone with you Prince, and the rest of the NPGMC members! See you in June!!

Love & Happiness Always,

Thanks CalhounSq!

I feel so alone with my views. What i want to know is where are all of the people that were praising and saying amen with Prince at the concerts?

Did they check their faith at the door?
