Eyes wide shut when its Princely I have been reading reviews on the ONA tour, and have been to the 3 DC shows myself. What really cracks me up is review after review city after city people posting their reviews as if THEIR show was the BEST show and how Prince did things at THEIR shows that he hadnt done at the other shows.....lol.....come on people, except for some switches of a few songs, and some special guest appearences, the shows were the same. Do u all really think that Prince "danced like his lil ole uncle" just at YOUR show??.....lol, ummmm he did that for the 3 DC shows, and on every review I have read so far....lol...and of course his band members r gonna laugh each time.....Prince told us at the DC show as well, to call the baby sitters...Prince was astonished that the DC crowd knew all the words to the songs and had the audience sing the songs saying "ohhhhh DC im scared of U".....just like all the other cities Im reading about.....a Performer is SUPPOSED to make each city feel special, and feel the best.....what gets me is that all these reviews Im reading, U all are actually BELIEVEING it.....good lawd.
the bottom line is.....Prince gives an awesome performance wherever he goes.....thats just him. No ones city is the BEST.....lol....he didnt like one crowed over another.....he just doing his job making everyone feel special wherever he performs.....all his shows are excellent....would u expect less from a perfectionist???.....what makes them different are the special guest that happen to appear like Santana at the DC show and Shelia E at the Cali show.....well whatever, just wanted to express my thoughts. peace

But a girl who who went to 11 One Night Alone shows already said L.A. had the best shows. SO when someone who has seen the show 11 times, even in D.C. with Santana & says that, I am gonna believe it. Silence Speaks A Thousand Words. | |

I have been to 7 shows since March2nd and I must say that all the shows were great but some of the shows and soundchecks were a little better than others.Like the 3 DC shows,In my opinuion, the second showw was a little better than the other 2 but they were all awesome! If you are just a little bit of a Prince fan you should not miss this tour. | |

The little things people choose to get up in arms about. I agree with you 100%. He's a great performer period. I don't care which show is better, I just care which show is close enough for me to get to.

If you're seeing the show for the first time, OF COURSE you're gonna mention that stuff that happened & be enthusiastic about it - what's wrong with that? Not everyone is reading every stinkin' review for every stinkin' city on the tour. Let the guy who gets to scream out, "CALL ME!" feel special - it doesn't matter that P's done it many times already. And MAYBE when people say it was THE BEST show (as I've said many times) they mean the BEST show THEY'VE witnessed. Isn't it all relative??? Sheesh, you people poop on all the parties!!! I don't care what you say - the Oakland show FOR ME was THE BEST I've ever been to! Bite it, Spivey!  I never met you, but I LOVE you & I will forever!! Not every post, some r very interesting to read like the personal experiences. In fact I think yours was one of them.....but some of these others "mines better then urs" type stuff is just too dayum kiddish.
