Hey, I was hoping someone might have an answer for me. I'm going to the Saturday night show at the Kodak Theatre, and I'm not 100% sure I"ll be able to make the soundcheck. Can you miss the soundcheck and still get whatever seats are available with the tickets purchased through the NPGMC retail section? Or do you HAVE to attend the soundcheck? Please let me know if you have an answer. Thanks a lot!

LUV, U BETTA TRY TO ATTEND THE SOUNDCHECK OR U MIGHT NOT HAVE A SEAT IF U ARRIVE AFTER... THAT'S WHAT HAPPENED IN HOUSTON WITH THEM OVERSELLING THE SHOW...180SEATS AND 200 NPGMC MEMBERS APPROX. SHOWING UP. ME AND MY BEST FRIEND WERE MOVED AROUND CONSTANTLY. PEOPLE WERE ANGRY AS THEY HAD NO SEAT. I ARGUED WITH SECURITY AND THE NPGMC REP. WHO HANDS ME TICKET TO SEATS ALREADY PURCHASED.. SHE CLAIMED THAT THE SEATS IN THIS ROW WERE EMPTY...YET THE CONCERT WAS SOLDOUT!
SO DRAMA, DRAMA, DRAMA.....I DON'T WANT YOU TO GO THROUGH THAT... I ENJOYED THE SOUND CHECK AND I WAS THE LAST PERSON TO SPEAK WITH PRINCE AND TELL HIM MY "SHORT" STORY THAT HE SEEMED TO ENJOY...SO THAT IN ITSELF MAKES UP FOR ALL THE TROUBLE I WENT THROUGH....MY DREAM CAME TRUE AND I MET PRINCE... AND I ENJOYED THE SHOW SHARING A SEAT WITH A FRIEND OF MINE WHO WAS IN THE 3RD ROW ISLE SEAT, THE USHERS AND SECURITY FELT BAD FOR HOW I WAS TREATED AND LET ME REMAIN THERE...WHICH WAS COOL.....GOOD LUCK AND PEACE AND BLESSINGS 2 U!

Not trying to be negative, but the 10 people who paid for premium seats and didn't get them should have gotten their money refunded.

How does one get into soudcheck?

well, dreams really DO come true.... since i was 14 years old, i have loved him. he never came around the tiny kansas town where i lived, but then i moved to cali a few years ago.
had my heart broken on the way to the great western forum 3 years ago, and now, possible twists of sweet ankles aside, it looks like i've got a second chance. tomorrow night!!!!! i dont remember ever being so excited.

but, i could just KICK myself for not joinging the club. are you all sayin that club members who buy tix are automatically invited to the SOUND CHECK????? you saying that your dream came true and you got to MEET him makes me want to cry. but hey, i will definetly settle for just being in the same room, listening to the greatest musician who ever lived, and hope for another tour sometime in the future. by that time i WILL be a member.

anyway, enjoy all. see ya at the kodak, i'll be the one grinning from ear to ear, maybe floating on air while my honey tries to find out where the after party will be
