L.A. Prince shows 4/19 & 4/20 Rules

Hey Bump Squad!

Are you all ready for this weekend?

Here are the Line-Up Rules for BOTH shows. Again, we are not trying to dictact anything. Just trying to make this weekend a joyful experience.

1. Kodak theatre told me they do not want anyone lining up until 3 p.m.!

However, this seems highly unrealistic. If you feel like you want to take a chance & get there earlier, then do so.
I am sorry I cannot tell you what time to get there because I do not want to be held responsible if you get there too early & get kicked out or when you get there, there are already people in line.

2. When being checked in on the list, you will be asked if you are attending alone or
if it is you plus one guest. It will be noted from check in. We will ask for the NPGMC member's last name & FAMNAME when checking you in.

3. You will ONLY be allowed to be holding the spot in line for you & one guest.

NO EXCEPTIONS!

In order to prevent cutting in line & things to be run smoothly, this is extremely Important. Again, you can hold the place in line for yourself & ONE guest only. If your guest is with you, then thier will be no need to save a place in line for them.

4. If your guest is an NPGMC member as well, & purchased thier tickets seperately,

please let jseven know so it can be noted & it will be easier for will-call & the NPGMC to take care of things before Soundcheck.

5. Later in the afternoon as soundcheck approaches, the NPGMC & Kodak Theatre box office will go thru the line-up list & check with us to make sure everything is in order.

6. Shortly after, The NPGMC will go thru the line & pass out wristbands to each Music Club Member in attendance. The NPGMC & Kodak theatre staff will be handling this aspect of the line-up. Please direct questions about this aspect of the line-up to the NPGMC during the line-up, as they will not be answering ?'s about this until they have arrived at the Kodak Theatre & have everything in place.

7. Everything should run smoothly as long as everyone is respectful to one another. Do not allow people to cut in line. Their are bathroom facilities located around the outside of the Kodak Theatre, so if duty calls, please let the people next to you in line know that you are using the restroom & what not & will return shortly. Let's just look out for one another.

8. If you become hungry before soundcheck, thier are almost two dozen food establishments to choose from. We recommend having one person be used as a runner for a few of you in order to get your grub on. This is another reason to get to know the people next to you. After all, they are there for the same reason you are.

9. Around 5 p.m., when Prince is ready, NPGMC members will be let in to the Kodak Theatre in small groups. At that time, the Kodak Theatre will do a security check on each person. Please put all camera's back in your car. Anyone found with a Camera or Recording Device will immediately be ejected from the Venue & have thier NPGMC membership cancelled.

10. Prince is allowing us into soundcheck. Prince is not doing auditions. Please do not bring any CD's or tapes for Prince into the soundcheck. Each day, at least 5 producers & musical artists are sued by aspiring artists saying that thier music, lyrics, riffs, were jacked by said producer/musical artist whom the demo was presented to. This is another reason why you will find most producers/artists do not open thier own fan mail. Prince is not trying to be disrespectful to the fan, but in actuality is protecting himself.

11. Enjoy the Soundcheck & the SHOW!!!!! =-)

At the time of writing, Kodak Theatre Parking is 10.00 for the entire day/night with no time limit. If this has changed before you get to the Kodak Theatre, please understand we will have nothing to do with that.

We will not be able to answer any email until AFTER this weekend, so if you have any questions, please ask upon arrival.

Be WIld & Much Love

Very good idea to try to organize ahead of time. I will be attending the concert on Saturday and wondered if anyone knew of how things usually work for the aftershows. Are NPG Music club members allowed into the aftershows without waiting in line with the general public? If so, Is the guest of an NPG Music club member also allowed in without a wait?

Hey, JSeven, good lookin out on trying to keep things orderly.

Peace

From what I've gathered, MPGMC members do not have to wait in line for the aftershow and they can bring one guest with them who also does not have to wait in line. However, the guest will have to pay the cover to get in, where as the member does not have to pay the cover. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

A little tip: try taking the LA subway and parking at another location. Save the $10. Forget the hassle of parking in Hollywierd. I'm coming from Universal City.

My friend just called from Hollywood Blvd. 70 degrees and sunny and all the fans are already lined up at 2pm. I gotta get back to LA. HOB show will be off the hook, better than NYC I bet.

Just want to say thank you to JSeven and the Bump-Squad. The line-up went very smoothly Friday. I arrived early and my reward was a perfect seat, center stage, 2nd row. It was so great to meet so many other members. The concert exceeded my expectations.
