I've been a Prince fan for many years, but I do not think he has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Tell me this cannot be true!!! Your thoughts??? And if not..what shall we do??!!!

Nothing. Prince don't approve of a star on the WOF cuz it constitutes "idolatry" and he wants no part of it, so as long as he doesn't want it,t here's nothing we can do about it. Not my words, his.

I had heard a long while back that they refused to give Prince a star becuz they didn't approve of his lifestyle, yet Madonna has one. Go figure. There was a petition started back then to get Prince a star, but never heard what became of that. Wonder if we should try to do another petition ? Prince certainly deserves the recognition, right ?

LCD's got it right... part of the "deal" to get a star is that the person will be there for the unveiling ceremony, and Prince has never agreed to do that. Hence, he doesn't/won't have a star. I don't think they give a damn if you screw little boys (MJ has a star ) you just gotta be relatively known and ante up the cash & small number of signatures, and agree to show up when it's unveiled.
