More on Dallas

The show was typical of the setlists I have seen here - he finished with AnnaStesia - Purple Rain was not played at all during the show.

There was a performance afterparty - I think Prince felt we were cheated out of the full soundcheck so we got a nice afterparty at Red Jacket in Dallas.

Club members were let in for free ($30 for everyone else) and got let down into the dancefloor area closest to the stage (noone elase was allowed down there).

From what I can remember, here is what was played (other people help me out):

Erika Badu was there and played a duet with Prince to open the set - don't know the title but it was the same song he had a duet with Rhonda on during the concert.

Pass the Peas was soon after but I know I am leaving things out - this just ended a few hours ago and I am tired smile

Alphabet Street was also played but I think the highlight was Calhoun Square - that was a jam and I didn't expect that.

We also got Rainbow Children which ended the show - like I said I know I am leaving stuff out. There was also a lot of impromptu jamming - it was a nice show.

Anyway off to work - more later if I can remember stuff.

'Didn't Cha Know' from Erykah's album, 'Mama's Gun'.

So the weather didn't have a bad impact on the show? I became concerned when I heard Fort Worth and Arlington got hit hard.
