The New Orleans Concert

Thumbs up! it was a winner..

Prince was in rare form, it was a GREAT concert.
The sound check: It was a great soundcheck.. prince was sortof in a match with an audience member on the guitar! a member of the audiance told prince he could play bambi, if prince wouldnt.. so prince handed him the guitar.. and he kicked ass.. then prince got the guitar, and played bambi excellent!
He talked 2 the members and such, played TONS of instrumentals.. He actually played God Created Woman on piano, and girls and boys..He played dolphin for about 8 minutes...

the soundcheck was about 50 to 55 minutes.. it was good.. worth the money..

The Concert and The soundcheck songlist will be below, its a rough setlist.. and eye might have forgot a few, he literally played over 30 songs (including soundcheck)
Maceo and Candy Dulfer were great (and Candy is FINE, she can play me anyday)
He did a great job, playing around 3 hours.. at one point he got off the stage and played guitar.. Candy Dulfer came from the back entrance at first, and played all the way 2 the stage.. it was great.

He was alot of fun last night, joked around alot and had a great interaction with the crowd. the SAenger theater was PACKED OUT..

He played most all the songs all the way through,, and did a great job on keyboards... Jonny B was awsme.. as was the rest of the band.

There was no afterparty, because he was goin 2 dallas or soemthing.. but eye saw all them jumpin on a bus, that was cool..

The Songs are not in any paticular order... and look for a deeper review of the concert when eye have time.. sorry for bein so brief, just wanted 2 let yall know there was a concert.
eye might have left off a few, eventually eye'll remember, but this was the bulk of it.

TheMax

How could you put a price tag on that soundcheck experience!?

What a terrific report. Just hoping for the same high energy show in the beautiful Kodak Theatre!
