Phoenix's Prince

Hello Everybody,

I am a new NPGMC member, but could not adjust my schedule in time to share the great soundcheck expierence previously explained by "Freespirit".
HOWEVER, I was lucky enough to get tickets in the balcony, which was not such a bad seat! This marked the thrid time I have seen Prince. The last time was on the Jam of the Year tour. Both my furture brother-in-law and myself believe this show knocked the pants off of his performance at Desert sky in '97.
PRINCE looked great dressed in a red suit and sporting a short hair stlye. He change into a nice black suit with red trim and had a black hat with a red stripe, which he tossed into the NPGMC section.
I loved the entire show from 'the rainbow children' beginning with Maceo performing in the audience, I admit I was disappointed not to see and hear Candy Dulfer does anyone know why she missed the show?? There was a great part during 1+1+1=3 when he invited this male and female NPGMC on stage to "shake their pants" (smiles) Let me tell you if the crowd wasn't into the show before that guy, I which I knew his name, got busy boy were they ever afterwards!
LIKE "2Funke" mentioned about his friends who saw the show and came away with a new opioion on Prince there was this man who sat in front of me who had not seen Prince before and only knew about what the radio plays of his music. When he arrived he was kinda sarcastic with a comment like so what is this Purple rain guy gonna do tonight. I spoke up and said I guarentee you will leave this show wore out! He laughed. Let me say this before Prince came back for his encore this man was the loudest in our section yelling for more and dancing "like it was 1999".
I love the song Adore and after the show I love it even more. Prince played it completely and adding some extras to it as well, Diamonds & Pearls, I wanna be your lover, and Lenny Kravitz too fun. By far the piano encore was worth the full ticket price by itself. I highly recommend this show and if Prince is bringing One nite anywhere near you run don't walk!
