Things got off to a slow start as there was a tornado in the area and the tornado siren went off so everyone had to be ushered inside to the basement area.

Once that cleared (30 minutes or so) club members via a list that was made in order of when you arrived were let in for the soundcheck (evenhough event staff said all day NOONE would be let in for the soundcheck. shows what they know and that things can change at the last minute).

The soundcheck was one song - Paisley Park - which was nice. I think he would have played more if not for some freak in the second row who was making symbols at him and everyone else and speaking gibberish in some form of tongues. He gave her her chance to, as he said, "speak her peace". Once the gibbereish started he said something to the effect of "If someone makes symbols at you and speaks this way walk the other way and make a symbol at them". Everyone laughed loudly and then when she spoke of some trinity nonsense he said there is one God - God is not a Trinity. At 9pm sharp the show started...

I'm really not understanding what actually happened at the soundcheck bassed on the these phrases. Can someone translate please.

I wasn't there, but I spoke to a friend of mine this morning who was. Evidently, he was seated either right next to her or right behind her. She was constantly throwing up wild signs and just yelling out random stuff and generally annoying the hell out of everybody. To quote my friend, "she was on some kind of angel dust or something." I have a hunch. I'll bet by "speaking gibberish" she meant this person was really speaking "in tongues" perhaps praying for Prince? That would explain her trinity outburst.

I swear these FREAKS are gonna ruin the whole soundcheck experience for EVERYONE!!! Why are people so damn selfish & stupid???!!! The soundchecks are NOT for one broad to disrupt everybody else by girating & shit - since WHEN do you get the Holy Ghost from listening to Paisley Park???!!! :O

That's one thing about this whole JW business - the religious nuts are gonna be out in force! SO glad that he's converted, and we'll have to suffer through every friggin' testimonial.
