The upcoming Dallas concert on 16 April is one I'll never forget, and neither will my wife. Check this out, here's why. Twenty years ago, my wife (Roberta) and I were supposed to go to a Prince concert in Mobile Alabama to see him, Vanity 6 and the Time on his 1999 Tour. Things happened where my wife (girlfreind at the time) stayed behind in Ft.Walton Beach Florida with her mom as her mom told horror stories of me and also of what things take place at rock concerts. I ended up going by myself as she told me when I went to pick her up that she wasn't going with me. I ended up with front row seats (General Admission), 5 feet from the stage and had the time of my life! Vanity pulled a banana from under her g-string/black coat with tail and handed it to me on her opening song. The Time was C-O-O-L! And Prince destroyed Mobile! It's affected my whole life since!
Roberta and I soon split up afterwards as I joined the military and moved out of state and both went our separate ways.
Three years ago, Roberta and I found each other again and have since been married for 2 wonderful years.
So when I dropped some Prince concert tickets to Dallas Texas on her for our 2 year anniversary, she flipped out!
We've talked about that day 20 years so many times since then, but I guarantee we'll be talking about this upcoming concert in Dallas 100 times over!
Can't wait to get there and meet some other .orgs! See you there!

I agree, these stories really have a little place in my heart and add a real warmth to this already kick-ass site. Does anyone remember that recent concert report where the guy said something like "Prince you've inspired me to be a better person". It was moving, dude....
