ATLANTA: There WAS a third show... :)

ATLANTA: There WAS a third show... smile

04.04.2002:

open soundcheck;
excellent musical part:
Calhoun Square
Dolphin
Peach
funky jam with guitarist from the audience

the following Q&A thing evolved into a religious discussion thing, with a lot of members wanting to declare THEIR spiritual beliefs. this became VERY boring. it's the NPG MUSIC CLUB, not the CHURCH CLUB.

excellent 2nd show @ the symphony hall;

premiere of:
ONE NITE ALONE
EXTRAORDINARY
2 HEADS R BETTER THAN 1 (tentative title)

aftershow @ Eleven50; 95'

0035-0210 a.m.

incl.:
jazzy jam, Prince on keyboards
777-9311 (Prince on bass)
The Stick (?)
Dolphin (short)
The Ride
"Atlanta GA" jam
Extraordinary
"I Wanna Get Funky" jam
The Beverly Hillbillies Theme
Alphabet St.
The Payback
1+1+1 Is 3
Love Rollercoaster
The Other Side Of The Pillow
Rainbow Children (instr. jam)

The Everlasting Now

.

Thanks for the report. The aftershow sounded excellent.

How was "The Everlasting Now" ? He practiced that for 15-20 minutes at the Cleveland soundcheck, and it was a brilliant groove.

BTW, One Night Alone was premiered in Louisville on the 9th of March:

and also played in Cleveland on the 10th:

Thanks again for the report !!! He had been practicing Extraordinary for a couple soundchecks and I heard it sounded fantastic. How was it ???

The chicago show that's been circulating has about a minute or so of One Night Alone, so it was debuted even earlier. It also ha a full version of Everlasting Now.

Really ?! I guess no one had put that in the setlists. I'm really digging all the reports, but I love those setlists. It makes it interesting to see the little changes that take place over the course of the tour.

The soundchecks are even more interesting because it can provide a peek at what is to come !!!

Keep it coming people !!!

FYI. Everlasting Now closed the 1150 Aftershow. He did not do Soul Sacrifice. And just so you know it was an incredible show. The Ride kicked ass.
