I do have to say that the server situation is pretty lame. How many members are going to go to this? Certainl no more than 400. And even if they all log on at once... that still shouldn't be a problem.

I also am surprised that there aren't more new york shows. it's a huge market. There should be at least one more...

Is it because they cannot take the traffic. Didn't the pre-sale for both NY and Florida go on at the same time? I can't imagine it's a cnn.com where a millin plus people go if a major event occurs.

They probably have everything on one lousy old server that can't handle the onslaught of a few hundred hits over the course of 45 minutes! Someone needs to take them to school.

Yea and take a very small portion of the $100 club fee and $125 tickets and buy a new server! How cheap can you be??

It always takes ages to load on my computer, yet other flash sites dont. I dont like the design, the colors are garish, anyway i would havre thought prince could come up with something much better looking.

I got through, briefly, and guess what, the tickets are $150!!!!!

I would love to see him a 2nd time on this tour since Buffalo was awesome and driving to NYC from Albany is a snap but $150 is getting a little steep.

I got to the checkout part of the site and I have no idea what happened. Time to try again.

No one is complaining about the site's design (on this thread, anyway). The problem is its complete lack of functionality at crunch time.

Every year I feel frustrated that I have to wait until the end of the tour for P to hit the Bay Area.

Now I am hopeful that by then all the kinks will be worked out.

I feel for you people. I know I wouldn't be happy until I got my passes.

Thank you. I feel the same way. I feel bad for those of you who have had problems with this tour, but I'm also hoping these things will be fixed before he comes to the Bay Area.

I got through with the "Ur oder has already been processed," but

1. No confirmation number
2. No order in my order history
3. And to top it all off, an error message that my credit card was rejected... which is impossible because

a. my available credit far exceeds the price of the ticket
b. I double checked for correct entry of billing info and credit account info
c. my credit card company confirmed that THEY did not reject any attempted charges today (so it's not a problem with my credit card)

I just emailed help@npgmusicclub.com and npg@gage.com

I know for a fact that this exact thing happened to at least two other members who attempted to make a purchase today.

Good lord...anyone who hadn't better get themselves a confirmation number. I was worried, as I had gotten to the point just before I entered my credit card number & still had a ticket in my shopping cart when I tried again. My e-mail order confirmation says I only paid for one, which is fine, but this was tiresome & stress-heavy.

That Divinity woman better not show up in NYC. You folks better stand in line in an orderly fashion & behave yourselves!

How bout this one:

I finally got through and got a confirmation number, and when I checked the order history it says:

"Order Detail 4 BRIAN WOLOSKY"

I am clearly NOT Brian Wolosky. But I apparently have his confirmation number, his address, etc. How EFFED up is this?

Ok I think I went through ALL the scenarios. This is my saga of trying to get tickets through NPGMC for the New York show. If any of these happen to you, keep trying until you get to the final step:

1. Server time-out... kept trying

2. Got to the page to enter credit card info and clicked "continue check out"... server time-out... kept trying

3. Completed check out and got "Ur order has already been processed."

Ok, here's where I took a breather, thinking everything was cool. BUT FOLKS DON'T STOP HERE!!! If you do not get a confirmation number, your purchase did NOT HAPPEN!!!

4. After going back and forth on the site trying to refresh pages and get a confirmation number, I got an error message indicating that my credit card was rejected.

This happened to at least two other people trying to purchase tickets. After checking with my card company, they said that THEY did not reject any purchases and in fact no purchases had been attempted according to them. So this appears to be another glitch in the NPGMC retail site.

Okay, so I decide to try it all again.

5. Finally went through the whole process again, re-entering credit card info and GOT A CONFIRMATION NUMBER! Woo-hoo so I'm very happy thinking I got the ticket, right?...

WRONG. After seeing that I got no confirmation email, I double checked "UR HISTORY" for that confirmation number, and lo and behold, it says:

"Order Detail 4 Brian Wolosky" and gives the address, etc.

[I should probably state here that I am NOT Brian Wolosky!!!]

Okay I will put up with all the server overloads, site crashes, but when I am accessing other people's order history that is just plain ROACH. Unprofessional. A breach of security.

So I called my credit card and NOTHING. So I decided to do it all again, after deleting history, deleting cookies, etc.

5. Went through all the steps. Got a DIFFERENT confirmation number. Double-checked it through the "Order history" and this time it says MY NAME, AND got an email.

So to recap, if you do not have the following, you should not consider your purchase complete:

1. A unique confirmation number (a simple "Ur order has already been processed" is insufficient.
2. A listing in YOUR order history with YOUR NAME (a mere confirmation number could belong to SOMEONE ELSE)
3. An email confirming your purchase.

Phew, how about that? I dunno, is this the cyber version to camping out the night before to buy tickets???

Good luck folks!

Oh boy. This general admission process sounds frustrating. But if that's what has to be done to get the best tickets for the NPGMC members, we'll have to find a way to make it work.
