I was recently at a concert in Canada. The venue.... well let's just say we have an NHL hockey team. I was speaking with the promoter and said "hey, why aren't you trying to bring Prince's tour here"? He said "His album didn't do to well". I said "are you kidding me, his tour is selling out all over the U.S. plus Toronto". He's like "ya, small 5000 seat venues. His tour hasn't been that successful". I'm like"whatever, do you call MSG, Air Canada Center, Boston, Philly and the Staples Center all for starters... small venues plus the fact he's ranked in the top 5 for tours this summer". He's like "you or I can sell out those cities". All this coming from a bonehead who who biggest show sold only 6000 seats this summer. Guys like this piss me off and have NO knowledge of music. Can you get this guy....?
