From reading the story she seemed to be a poor fam treated badly by her asshole hero!!!! I can't believe it! From the pictures on her site you can clearly see the girl's looking for attention, and definetly does everything she can to get it! If I were Prince I would probably get down the stage and kick her ass for disturbing my work!!!! About the disabled girl: I won't say a word! You got what you deserved! First, this "dude" (Calhoun Square) is a female. (Psycholdelicide was just quoting Calhoun Square.) Second, she said she had a bullet for anyone who behaved that way in the Bay Area--not you Divinity, so I don't think you have too much to worry about. Third, saying vaguely that you've got a bullet for someone who acts up at a soundcheck is not a violation of any criminal law because it's not an imminent threat--so her "ass" is not going to jail anytime soon. Hmmm, you could have fooled me. Your whole intention of this thread was to bring negative attention to Prince, and you failed. Yes, I have found this to be true. People who have a good experience either getting a "hello" from Prince, or getting picked to dance on stage, or having a dialog with him or being acknowledged by him in some way say Prince is a wonderful guy, the best and the greatest. But others who tried for years and failed for years to get their little "hello" or acknowledgement feel differently. There are some "fams" who actually think what they feel for Prince is "love" and they are crushed and disappointed when they are ignored or dissed.   | |

This has to be the funniest thing I've read in ages. I just hope that Prince doesn't scrap the open soundchecks by the time he hits L.A. Divinity 6, with all due respect, it sounds like you were out of line here. The people here may be coming across harsh but if I'm in their shoes at the soundcheck, I would have been ticked off myself. Hopefully you learned something from this.

Prince is human after all, and being on tour can't be that easy. I don't fully believe most of the things people write on this site, so I don't fully believe this one, might be partly true, all knows, but he is human and does get moody like the best of us. Someone made a really good part here and that is Artist can be wrongfully sued for accepting material such as this, for breach of copyright, so he may have reacted so harchly cause of that, Prince has been sued a few times in the past you know. So there's my opinion, made at 5:24pm Tuesday on a cold Melbourne day. Ta ta | |
