I replied a Madhouse reunion. It was pretty much all Prince on record, so how about Prince with Eric, Sheila and Levi. A whole instrumental set.

Well, doesn't it depend on how much Prince is paying these artists? The big names aren't going to play the celebration for free?

Anyway, I think that the bigger names should be saved for the latter days of the celebration, when more people are there. Some people go to the celebration for the last few days, not all 7 days.

So, a nightly performance list:

Night 1: Jill Jones and her band
Night 2: Candy Dulfer and her band
Night 3: Najee and and Paisley All-Star band*
Night 4: Sheila E. and her band
Night 5: Maceo Parker Band
Night 6: Bobby McFerrin or Al Jarreau?
Night 7: Prince smile

The Paisley All-Star band featuring Najee on Night 3 would be Prince-related musicians either from the Revolution days or the past NPG members who want to perform.

Joshua Redman
Rachelle Farrell

I also told NPGMC that if it isn't too personal to ask, I would really like to hear Prince perform some of his father's jazz compositions.

That would be sweet and maybe kind of a cathartic release for the man.I would love to see David Sanborn or Michael Franks.Rachelle Farrell would be the bomb. How about India.Aire? She is great in concert.Saw her with Sade on 9/10 and that was marred by the next day so I would like to see her again to get that out of the memory!!!
