The Hoochie Dance Off Ruined My Time @ Last Nights Concert I know, I know...that some girls & ladies love to get all dolled up and go 2 the Prince show. But when they go and become some obsession to get on stage, it gets ugly. Boyfriends harassing security to give there scantily clad hoochie girlfriend a wrist band or break. The women flirting & working on security to get on stage (standing right in front of me so i can't see or enjoy the show-come to think of it-they're not even watching the show). And another thing: once they open the cattle gates so these hefers can get on stage every chick in plastic shoes & and a bad Mayte look (or appollonia, Carmen, Vanity etc. look) races to the gate to dance like a coked out stripper in a cheap northbeach topless club. Most of these girls can't dance. My problem isn't the girls on stage (not at all, I love women) Its just the classless, tackiness, disresctfulness & ugliness that it brings. U know that for half the show I had about 15 cheap looking hoochies crowding in front of in anticipation of getting on stage. I even tried to help these girls:
"ladies, this is the acoustic part of the show, u got at least 40 minutes before he does the dance part. Please go back to your nosebleed seat..." tsk tsk.... good show, just bummed on the vibe. Nero | |

what they need to do is pick npgmc members is the first couple rows.....

Yes but when it all comes down to reality...he goes home to his wife....so ladies please stop making asses out of yourself...he is not into hoochies anymore...Mani has him all to herself and I am sure she is just laughing when these hoochies leave the stage as she knows that she has him all to herself and I am sure P is laughing about it too!!!.

Re: all the lobbying/butt-kissing/begging/etc. to get on stage...the idea of having fans come up on stage is cool, but I think some have ruined it for the rest of us. Personally I hope Prince doesn't do it in the future; I'm sure he's seen or heard from his crew what's going on...people are going totally overboard in their quest to be picked. well not all dolled up women are hoochies...I get dolled up for every occasion with a new outfit cause I have it like that.....I got a new outfit for Prince, wore my purple glitter and had the outfit to the purple toes down...I like to look good and take pride and my parents started it when I was little..as a female you should take pride in your appearance and many white girls come out looking like you rolled out of bed....wrinkled tops, tennis or flip flops....I had on white capri and purlple heels and shook my butt right there in front of my seat..it is always the fat chicks that complain about other women....now if they were straight up hoochie, strippers, etc that is another.....but sorry I match everytime I leave the house and I dont' have to have the most expensive stuff but, I don't repeat outfits often and never ever wear the same outfit to the same establishments....like my fiance says many women don't have it like me... but i am soo over the plotting...girls all up in my space trying to get attention...im about to clock someone tonight if it happens again.....the view in front of my head is for me to see the show..not your damn hairsprayed hair flowing cause your trying to get securities attention..... and does there have to be an Elaine from Sienfield type dancer in each group? and a token flaming guy twirling around like its Martha Walsh on stage? I concur. There were 2 chicks at the concert I was at trying their damnest to talk to Prince's security and lowering their already obscene shirts to show more cleavage. Being my first Prince concert, I had no idea why they were sweating security like that. Later in the show, a security guard came up to me--I thought he was going to throw me out for trying to record Prince on my cell phone (!!)-- but I was picked to go onstage--and I was so not hoochie (long black pants, black t-shirt, no gratuitous flesh peaking out)...and saw only one of those 2 chicks onstage with me. I thought, "man, that's what you were trying to do the whole time??"
PS I can see why people whore themselves though. I had the time of my life. Many thanks to the super nice security guy. Wish I knew why you picked me. [Edited 9/28/04 11:09am] | |
