Is Prince gonna b performing in Paris at the end of October(28th) or not???

I have seen various adverts in our papers over the past few weeks from independant ticket agencies advertizing Prince in Paris!! Also I seem 2 remember reading about it on either here or the Club!!

Can anyone confirm this???

It's been posted here regularly for the past few months.

People have telephoned the number on advertisements and have reported here that they were told that a concert has not officially been confirmed (but the agency believes it will happen).

There is no official announcement about any European concert.

Others have suggested that this is something that some agencies do, perhaps sometimes on the strength of rumour. If no concert date materialises, people are apparently refunded, with the agency having enjoyed the benefit of your cash in their account in the meantime.

If I recall correctly, the advertisements were (at least originally) claiming the concert would be held at Le Zenith, Paris on October 28th or 29th. This seemed improbable given the venue's size, shape and capacity, if Prince planned to bring the same Musicology presentation in the round to Europe. Moreover, it seemed something of a coincidence that he would be playing the same venue on the same date as the ONA tour in 2002.

A simple check at http://www.le-zenith.com/paris/

reveals that Le Zenith, Paris is booked for performances by other artists from 27th-31st October.
