Will Prince have another leg of the "Musicology" tour?

Your thoughts on this, please?

I saw him Monday night in Seattle, and I wanted to stay for the next night's show. But, I had to get back to school. Anyway, I'm just curious if anyone's heard about the possibility of another leg of the tour. It would be really cool to see him in Seattle again, or somewhere else.

First a break/ recording in Minneapolis during september , october
Then some gigs in s. America, Australia, Japan and in february 2005 Europe lol

U.S musicology shows are over after september 11. Musicology tour continues in the places mentioned (all this 'news' comes from Housequake)

and let's not forget that Pfunk Geroge Clinton tribute scheduled for the end of October in Los Angeles.

I'm also figuring that Prince and The Band will tour Canada soon because you can't call it a north american tour is you only play two gigs in Toronto. Heck Prince and the Band did a hanful of dates during the ONA tour.

Be patient and everything will come out in the wash. ...

He should keep on distributing Musicology CD's on whatever tour he does so that it keeps in the Top 10. Give it out on every show he does for his career!

There will bo no P-Funk Tribute Show. It was only rumored anyway. The P-Funk band members I spoke with never even heard of the idea. Sorry.

I still think there should be a "final show" for this leg of the tour in MINNEAPOLIS...That would ROCK. I heard some rumbles of this earlier, but have heard nothing else in quite a while. sad sad

Well, in the recent Ebony magazine article, they pointed out that there's no end date assigned to the "Musicology Tour." So, he can keep touring under that banner for awhile, and all the sales count toward the tour gross ("highest-grossing tour in history!", anyone?). By that same logic, he can keep giving out the CD, and they'll keep counting toward the overall "sales" total (as per Soundscan/Billboard). lol

I'm all in favor of this, though I have no idea if it will happen. An encore show at the dome in MPLS, preceded by a week-long open house at PP and followed by an aftershow there! woot!
