I just walked out my office and over to the Warner Theatre to see if I could pick my tickets up early, and confirm that there would be no soundcheck today. (4:45pm)

In any event, the woman confirmed that there is NO public soundcheck tonight. However, I could hear Prince playing the Madhouse song "Six" (which sounded tight as hell) in the background. NPGMC members cannot pick up tickets for tonight until 5:00pm--although non-NPGMC members can pick them up now. That's kind of backwards IMO, especially since there is no open soundcheck today.

I think it kind of sucks that we can't go into the soundcheck today, but oh well...

FYI for those going tonight, Billy Sparks says there will be no afterparty. Nevertheless, NPGMC members must now wait until 10:30pm to pick-up their tickets. (This doesn't make much sense considering non-NPGMC members can pick up their tickets now, but I think there's been a lack of communication between NPG and the Warner, as Billy seemed to have no idea that all of the non-member tickets were already being distributed.)

On the bright side, he stated that people could use their otherwise useless laminate from tonight for tomorrow's soundcheck if they aren't already going tomorrow.
