I went to the opening show in Boston. I have to say, next to Erykah Badu, I could sum this show up in one word---"life-affirming." I didn't get to go on stage or anything like that, but I felt like the entire arena was an open space for musical expression and freedom. Before Prince went on for the Purple Rain encore, he handed me a brochure about God's wishes for all of us. If you ever read this, Prince---a thousand thank you's can never express what that exchange meant to me and how, on a very real and symbolic level, we are all truly connected. Much love,
