Prince Concert Syndrome in full swing... I have 16 days until my show and I am well into the Pre-Prince Concert phase.
What will I wear? How will I do my hair? Idiot...it doesn't matter...what are you 12?? I wonder where he's staying...maybe I'll hang around Salt Lake on Mon/Tues and have a little "Prince safari". Idiot...that's scary, stalker behavior...what are you 12??? I'm gonna die...WILL I BE FRONT ROW????? Idiot...it's a Prince concert...you're going to have a blast if you sit in the grass.  The only cure is time...

[This message was edited Sun Aug 22 18:37:25 2004 by DMSR] Ahhhhh yes, PPCD-Post Prince Concert Disorder...an intoxicating mix of the buzz of excitement recalling memories of the night with the grounding realization that very few events leave you feeling as wonderful. Being left with the knowlege that if the energy from THAT night could be bottled, all the ills of the world could be cured. (This ambrosia is NOT to be mistaken for the notorious Purple Koolaid) And of course, the beginning of the jonesin' for the next show...which, as I have never been blessed enough to attend more than one show in a row, is NEVER soon enough. It hurts so good

We took several days off from work to really enjoy the past week. We're glad we did

It hurts so good  That's exactly how I am over this concert! It'll be my first time seeing him, and I cannot wait! Tomorrow night! I have my whole outfit, I'm getting my hair cut 'n styled (coincedence, I needed one desperately anyway!), and I think I'm gonna faint with excitement! | |

I am well into my post-concert phase--slight depression that it is all over, but euphoria that it happened at all! I am just glad that he moves on to make more fans happy Enjoy your time!!! Dance your a$$ off!!! | |

I totally agree about the post concert depression. I have never seen any concert that has ever come close to being as good as Prince. It seems like I waited sooooo long to go to the show, but then I'm sad that it's over. I'll just have to look foward to the next tour!!!!! | |

PPCD I am in the full throes of the disorder, after attending all 5 of the shows in Texas I have descended into a full case of the blues 
I always hated this when it happened before 
Alas I must live vicariously through the experiences of friends and fellow sufferers. But fear not when it is your turn to suffer through this episode I will be there for you with a big and a nice cuppa
